August 16th and 17th 2024

Mutton Bustin starts at
6pm SHARP FRIDAY NIGHT
5pm SHARP SATURDAY NIGHT

ALL CONTESTANTS AND ADULTS ARE STILL REQUIRED TO PURCHASE
A CURRY COUNTY FAIR ENTRY TICKET
 

Sheep and protective gear will be provided.  

Each contestant MUST furnish their own mouthpiece 

NO Spurs allowed during Mutton Bustin

Mutton Busters may NOT weigh over 55lbs.

Gender

Top 10 riders per night will advance to ride during that night's Baca Renegade Rodeo performance at the Mounted Patrol outdoor arena. 

A Waiver of Liability MUST be signed below by the contestant's Parent/Legal Guardian and the Parent/Legal Guardian MUST BE WITH YOU AT THE EVENT
or the contestant will NOT be able to ride.

I hereby wave and release the Curry County Fair, Baca Renegade Rodeo, Rodeo Queen's Association, The Curry County Events Center, Curry County, and OVG, along with any other organizations and/or individuals connected with the "Mutton Bustin" from any and all liability in the case of any accidents and/or injuries which may result from my child's participation in the "Mutton Bustin" Events.  I hereby assume all liability on behalf of the contestant as stated below.

I, as parent and/or legal guardian of                                                            the above stated contestant, do hereby acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the above "Waiver of Liability", and that I agree with and will adhere to the same.
